Alert, alert! The countdown has begun! Only 3 weeks to go until the Opening Doors performers wow the crowd at the Opening Doors annual show being held at Teatru Salesjan on the 4th and 5th May.
This year our two theatre groups, two dance groups and three music groups (including our new group based in Gozo) will take to the stage to show off what they have been working on this year. Right now, all the performers and group leaders are super focused on perfecting their pieces, and excited to share their work with you all! We can’t wait to see what they’ve prepared for us this time!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our donors and funders. They have made it possible for Opening Doors to sustain the weekly training sessions and also made the upcoming performances possible!
A special thank you to the President’s Award for Creativity for funding the performances taking place on May 4th and 5th and for supporting our Level 1 music group.
Thank you to Arts Council Malta for their support of our Level 1 dance and theatre groups and our overall operations through the Cultural Partnership Agreement.
Our Gozo music group is supported by the Ministry for Gozo and the Visual and Performing Arts school in Xewkija. We would also like to thank Aġenzija Żgħażagħ for funding the purchasing of instruments for this newly established group through the A4U scheme.
