Estelle Farrugia graduated from the University of Malta with a First Class Honours B.Sc. Communication Therapy in 2012. In 2018 she successfully achieved a Masters Degree in Language and Communication Impairment in Children with Distinction at The University of Sheffield. Her final year dissertation focussed on the relationship between movement and language development in toddlers. Dance has been her main form of creative expression since she was 4 years old. After being awarded the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies with the Royal Academy of Dance in 2014, she has taught ballet to students of varying ages. She has a special interest in creating opportunities for veritable inclusion for individuals with diverse abilities, developmentally, educationally and creatively. She has been an active contributor in various Opening Doors Teams since 2015.
